What you'll do
- Own the collections module (subscription payments, mandates, webhooks)
- Design + build new backend features end-to-end
- Improve reliability + observability (metrics, logs, alerts)
- Mentor junior engineers, review code
What we're looking for
- 3+ years shipping production Node.js / TypeScript
- Deep familiarity with PostgreSQL — indexes, transactions, EXPLAIN
- Comfortable with async patterns (queues, webhooks, idempotency)
- Worked with at least one payment gateway (Razorpay preferred)
- Cares about API design + observability
